Hot Stone Therapy

During a hot stone session smooth black basalt stones, which are formed from volcanic lava flows, are gently heated to about 120 degrees in crystal clear water. They are then removed one by one from the steaming hot liquid and gently massaged with natural oils. The stones will never be too hot for you with the ancient technique that was passed down to me during my training. I then use each stone throughout the massage while the healing heat is transferred to your body and stagnant energy and tension is absorbed back into the stones. It is recommended that you do not schedule anything productive afterwards. After a Hot Stone Massage you will not be in a place to do much else but relax and let the process of healing move through you. This is a great cleansing form of bodywork and a wonderful gift for friends and family as well.
